Under his leadership, Excursions By Rail has grown into a nationally recognised rail events company. From the sell-out Edinburgh Express and Taylor Train to the Beer Train and beyond, Luke has created unique journeys that attract passengers from across the world. The company also partners with heritage railways, helping to increase passenger numbers, sustain local lines, and deliver unforgettable experiences that celebrate the richness of Britain’s rail history.
At Bishop Trains, Luke has safeguarded a vital service for the town by ensuring that Bishop Auckland retains a reliable and welcoming ticket office. He has invested in modernisation, introducing new technology and expanding services, ensuring the station remains a key transport hub for residents, businesses, and visitors.
