Safer streets. More jobs. A stronger economy. Better education. Improved transport. A plan for healthcare.
This is part of my comprehensive six-point plan for Durham, and it’s a plan I’ve already started to deliver.
Having been born, raised, educated, worked, and served as a local councillor in County Durham, I have learnt how to get things done effectively.
As a former Business Development Director for a County Durham-based company, I am aware of the struggles our small and medium enterprises face daily. I am committed to working with local business owners to secure their futures by developing long-term strategies that support sustainable economic growth and job creation in our community.
In 2021, I dedicated myself to transforming Whitworth Park Academy in Spennymoor from Inadequate to Good. Collaborating with the school's leadership team and academy trust, we achieved a Good rating within just two years.
As the Conservative Candidate for City of Durham, I am focused on delivering the change we desperately need through my six-point plan:
- Safer Streets: Enhancing community safety through increased police presence and better support for local initiatives.
- More Jobs: Creating job opportunities by supporting local businesses and attracting new investments.
- A Stronger Economy: Developing long-term economic strategies to ensure sustainable growth and prosperity.
- Better Education: Continuing to improve our schools to provide quality education for our children.
- Improved Transport: Enhancing public transport infrastructure for better connectivity and convenience.
- A Plan for Healthcare: Ensuring access to high-quality healthcare services for all residents.
I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming weeks and months and working together to make these vital improvements a reality for our community.
